The SS Fittings Grade is an alloy made of alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum, silicon, and some carbon. In addition to chromium content makes it more resistant to rust. It has nickel content that enhances corrosion resistance properties in case of severe environments. Additionally, it has molybdenum content that provides localized corrosion resistance against scaling. SS is a strong and hard substance. These Forged Fittings are processed from the solution annealing process that restores a high degree of toughness. In addition to the higher amount of carbon, its creep resistance property is enhanced. The forged fittings are readily weldable and fabricable with all standard fabrication process with standard machines associated with SS grade.
